why do interracial romance and gay/lesbian romance have their own unspoken category..? why isn't it all just romance

@easystreets   because, they need a space especially for them,  free from white/hetero stories. they are minorities that are constantly being overlooked, and lumping them into one category isn't giving them the recognition and appreciation they deserve. :) (im just offering an explanation, im sorry if that sounded sarcastic, its just pretty hard to sound genuine over the internet.)
