That's a good thing when you're writing about time travel, paranormal events, and Science Fiction.

I guess if it comes down to it, I blame my dad for my passion for writing. Blame him and Jules Verne, Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain, H. G. Wells and yeah, Doctor Who. My dad introduced me to them. Not literally.  That's because we didn't have a time machine, I think. More figuratively. When he introduced me to Doctor Who he really got me into the whole Sci Fi/Fantasy genre. 

I took to heart Mark Twain's advice to write what you know. Having lived in parts of the United States and Canada and having an over-active imagination (thanks, Dad) I have a lot of ideas I can write from. Science and historical fact gives me a place to start. Fantasy lets me go anywhere. Mix them together. Magic. 

The Diaries of Jamie Poole are my first work of Sci Fi/Fantasy.  I do my own illustrations. I am planning the series to run at least 10 books with 5 already in various states of "done" or "almost done."
