why does getting your heartbroken for the first time hurt so much?

im debating not to write anymore because my motivation, the person my story is about , said some things about me and is ghosting me! so yay fun. My story was about me and him but I guess life had other plans. Without him I don't know what to write so I think I might have a break! Thanks to anyone who stared to read it
