I'm sick and tired of people getting killed by the colour of their skin. We're all humans, created by one perfect God and have the same hue of blood rushing through us yet people can't understand that this is the 21st century and racism must cease.
I'm utterly disgusted by the cruel way George Floyd was murdered. My heart aches for his family and friends going through this difficult time. Though we can't bring him back to life and other people whose lives have been taken away so tragically, we can show our support and enable justice to be served. The more people who speak up on this, the greater our fight for justice and equality will be.
Don't wait for another person to die before you voice out your rage. Rather do it now to save lives and prevent families from going through pain.
Imagine if your brother, sister, partner, friend or any other close relations got killed for no justified reason and that too for their skin colour. You would be rich with rage and be demanding justice. Why can't we all do that now? Is it the matter of ruining your aesthetic or it just doesn't concern you?
Being neutral in situations like this only means you are taking the side of the oppressor and condoning murder. Speak up now and end racism. Be loud and prevent another murder. Be bold and speak out. I'm disgusted by the myriad of people who have chosen to remain silent just because they're uncomfortable and are rather going about their lives like the world is free from racism.
To all those people, you're all cowards and pardoning murder. Speak up and prevent another tragedy. Don't wait till the world is rid of black people because people are still racist before you voice out. Speak now. Find ways to help even if it's just signing petitions or demanding justice. Your help may go a long way of ridding the world of racism and discrimination.
I'm black and proud and will always continue to be. #blacklivesmatter #silenceismurder #justiceforgeorgefloyd #stopracism #speakup
