Nessuno si sottomette a nessuno, persino uno schiavo a suo modo cerca la vendetta, colpo dopo colpo. Poiché l'uomo, pur propugnando grandi cause, non sa escogitare altro mezzo di sopravvivenza oltre la lotta istantanea uno contro l'altro; al centro di tutto c'è l'individuo mai pago, quello che vuole soverchiare i suoi simili.
