@linahanson @foursang Ah yes. That part of the process. I started out with a 120 K or so and ended up with 80. I'll write a bit more to measure this time, it was far too painful. Good idea to do some fine-tuning. Drafts are ok, but some of the stories on here are in very early stages and that can be a bit hard on the reader. I engaged a bit on WP before posting, but it's a fine line between enjoying the exchange with other readers - and being able to actually write. I'm working on my sequel and have withdrawn a bit. WP can be very addictive.

@linahanson I am in the process of second draft-ing what was 140,000 words and is now 120,000. 
            
            There is a fair bit more to prune back (and some to add). 
            
            I joined Wattpad to see what it is all about really. There is a new idea distracting me from the second draft so I may start posting it - just need to fine tune the plot first.

@linahanson @foursang Given some of the comments in the threads which must have been written under the influence of whatever stimulating substances available at the time, I would really not worry. We are an easygoing bunch! Do you write as well? Any questions, concerns, worries are definitely somethign you can air on WP. People are really constructive and helpful. If you are a reader then we can potentially point you towards interesting books. And I do NOT mean dragging you into our own novels ;p

@thebirdsmelody lol, I usually am quite good with guessing ages, I thought in your case you might make at least the lower one. Got that quite wrong! Never mind. So have fun in the oldie free thread!!! XD

@linahanson LOL! I am only seventeen! XD But thanks to you and that tread, I started my own. Lol, someone took that"Nobody over 20" idea, just spun it a bit though. ;) So, my sincerest thank you!
