helloo is there any dog owners here? i MIGHT be allowed to get a dog does anyone have any tips if i do :)?

@galaxysurfingghost all dogs have different toys they like, but I've noticed that most of dogs I've owned loved squeaky toys. And, a Border Collie?! One of the cutest and loveable dogs out there!! I'm so jealous

@Crevicenose I'm thinking of having a dog whos owners cant keep it anymore because they dont have the time for a dog etc. im hoping for a border collie and with my familys timetable will be the longest by itself 6 hours which would be for two times a week and at least a 20 minute walk in the morning and then a longer one in the after noon and for food hydrated kibble , raw meat and other things that are beneficial for dogs likes eggs , blueberries , pumpkin purree etc . do u have anything that would be good like certain toys and stuff

@galaxysurfingghost I've gotten a lot of puppies, so I'm not very expirenced with adult dogs. Though I did get an adult dog once, he had been abused so it took some time getting to know him. Just build there trust, take them on lots of walk so they stay leashed trained, set boundaries and enforce them, and most important, yoy need to make sure you know any possible allergies or problems that dog might have, when feeding it, keep an eye out for any reactions the first couples weeks just in case. And of course, give them lots of love
