FIRE UPDATE: Just yesterday there was another wildfire at a university that is only about 5 minutes from my house, but thankfully it was put out before it exceeded 3 acres. The day before, a huge pall of smoke from fires about 40 minutes to an hour away completely hid the sun and made 11 AM look like 7 PM. California is going through it. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts.

@novelistASH That is good that you're not in its path, but yeah the smoke can be out of control. I'm sorry to hear you're having sinus trouble. I agree. Definitely climate change. So many people will look for every other excuse besides the scientific truths right in front of us. And that sounds good. I could start with "Love Without Stars" and work my way down. My reading list is packed so it might be a few days before I drop by, but I will ASAP. Looking forward to checking it out.

@gideoneaston Yeah, thankfully I've been out of the direct path of the smoke, let alone the blaze. The smoke was killing my sinuses that first week. I feel like our entire biome is changing. I've been loving these cold spells, but the extra brush is a bad religion indeed. (Still a good song.) We need a ranger program or something. Our city is full of homeless people and we can't figure out how to get the manpower to prevent these tragedies?! I'll check out "Animals" next week. If I don't, feel free to bop me. I'm doing my best to keep that stuff thematically consistent and I'm proud of most of the work there. *A White Rabbit in Summer* is only going to be on Wattpad for a couple more months as I upload the audiobook onto YouTube. Hope you're safe; this place is a Bad Religion song right now. :( The only thing I'm really editing right now is "Animals," so I'd probably recommend that as it's my most recent work, but it's totally up to you what you read. :) Do you have a preference for which of your books I'd read?

I want to thank Wattpad's @Poetry account for adding my collection HEARTPEN to their "Free Verse" reading list! I was totally surprised and honored as I haven't had a chance to look back at that book in forever, so it's encouraging to know it made it onto an ambassador list. Thanks so much to them and also thanks to everyone reading ANIMALS for your support on my work. I was in a Christmas play just yesterday, so I haven't been able to reply to comments on my latest update because I was scrambling to memorize my lines, but I'm going to start replying now. I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season, whether or not you like eggnog. ❤️

Just wanted to let everyone know the reason I’m so late in replying and reading. We have fires going on where I live and we are evacuating our homes. We’re okay and we have a plan already. Plus we are all insured. It’s just a matter of jumping in our cars and driving somewhere safe. It may all blow over by this evening, hopefully. See you on the other side! Not meaning the afterlife, LOL.
