I'm sorry that I haven't yet updated Storms! I know you're all waiting for the act 1 finale (I'm eager to share it as well!) but I've been crazy busy lately. Life has been split between uni, volunteering work and writing. And on top of that, exam season starts in like a month so I kinda feel like I'm low-key going insane lol. The fic is still being written but it might take me a bit more since it's also a big chapter. Thank you for the patience, you're literally the best readers ever and I love you<3 please don't hesitate to reach out to me on tt or on here, I love chatting with you all!

I'm so jealous of the people who got a Michael poster from the cinema. When I asked today, they told me they were out. Heartbreaking actually for an MJ fan. This just means I might have to rewatch the movie a third time in a different cinema so I can ask again and hope for the best. Oh well! A girl gotta do what she gotta do!

If you think about it, stormtide (official shipname for Y/N and Percy btw!!) are actually so angsty?? Like here's a girl who finds it hard to trust anyone new coming into her life (she's done it with her aunt too, a coping mechanism). She has so much pent up rage and frustration and most of the time she doesn't understand who she really is or why she is the way she is. She doesn't know how to let herself feel. And then there's Percy who only knows how to feel. Whose fatal flaw is personal loyalty. He's considered her a friend before he even considered her a rival (and never in the true sense of the word, that rivalry was really one-sided). A boy who opens his heart too easily and a girl who guards hers too tightly. It's bound to end in some tears and painful yearning. These are traumatized kids learning to love together. How achingly beautiful is that?
And I just had to share this rambling of mine at like 2 am cause I love them so much, even though sometimes it hurts to write them.
