For those that followed my old account (Grace0179), this is my new one, and I just wanted to give you guys a little update.
First of all, I will not be republishing Genesis Book One on this account, as I’m not sure about the copyright. I will be publishing the remaining books on this account, however.
Speaking of Genesis, it has truly been a struggle to write the next book. City of Ashes is probably the most uneventful book in the Mortal Instruments (right up there with City of Lost Souls and City of Fallen Angels, nothing happens until the last three chapters), so while I am trying my best, I am simply lacking the motivation. It also doesn’t help that I left the chapters I had written in my drafts on my old account, so I will have to rewrite them.
In other news, I am working on a new fanfiction that is based around one of my other favourite book series—Harry Potter (honestly, did you expect anything else?). While I will not be disclosing any in-universe spoilers (title, plot, characters), I do want to say that I’ve been writing this since 2021, but it’s never been good enough to publish—yet. I’ve been working on the plot and background and characters for the past month, and I want it absolutely perfect. If you’ve read my first fanfiction, A Right To Stand, you’ll know that I prefer to have the book fully written out and perfected before publishing any part of it.
A more in-depth announcement will come probably towards the middle/end of its completion. Until then, I will try to tandem write both this new fanfiction and the second Genesis book.
