          sending out a brief letter to my fellow writers and readers to apologize for my unexpected hiatus. working on my second bachelor’s has put writing BET ON IT on the back burner, and i’m deeply sorry for making you wait for an update. my perfectionism makes it near impossible for me to write sometimes, and while i’ve found my groove, imposter syndrome is a gnarly thing, truly.
          
          catching up on reading has also been challenging, and i’m disappointed with my decrease in interactions. every writer who i have the pleasure to interact with and have written such impressive work deserve my attention, and i want nothing more than to dive back into your stories. nonetheless, i’m unsure when i’ll finish them, but best believe i’m watching your progress and excited to finally see how they develop.
          
          in short, life’s a mess (like this post lol) and my semi-hiatus is likely to continue. but this summer, look forward to seeing updates for BET ON IT. and to my fellow writers, expect me to appear in your comments soon. thank you for your patience with me and allowing me to be in your space. you’ve made writing and reading fun for me all over again.

been a while, my loves. but after allowing myself to take a step back and engage in self reflection and improvement, i can say i have exciting things in store for 2024. stay tuned, stay aware, and stay true. may we all see a free palestine this new year. celebrate it happily.

attention all LIVEWIRE readers:
          
          both ACT I and chapter one are going to be unpublished temporarily due to plot changes. i apologize immensely for the inconvenience; this, unfortunately, is my only remedy for a terrible block i've had for weeks on end (hello month-long radio silence). however, these changes, while constituting some form of reset, are largely minor, and current readers don't need to worry about substantial changes. the tweaks i am implementing add substance to the novel's overall foundation and promotes a maturity i wish to extend to each and every reader, both in content and skill, and so far, i really like the changes that are coming out of this.
          
          that being said, please be patient with me while these changes are underway. august was truly a Terrible time for me, both work wise and writing wise, and i want to use this time now (my birth month <3) to finally dust off these insecurities that seem to stay with me with every draft i complete and feel entirely confident in my work. i am making it my mission to be consistent as a writer, and plan to take advantage of the scheduling feature to bring you all new chapters weekly. change is a difficult thing, truly, but i believe you're going to love what's on the other side. i know i will.
          
          in the meantime, please pop in for a taste of the revamped cast and multimedia portion of LIVEWIRE (link is posted below). in addition to improved graphics, a few new faces can be seen, alongside a lengthened playlist i hope communicates the novel well and provides essential auditory nuance. i cherish you all so much, and i'll see you again very soon.
