been a while, my loves. but after allowing myself to take a step back and engage in self reflection and improvement, i can say i have exciting things in store for 2024. stay tuned, stay aware, and stay true. may we all see a free palestine this new year. celebrate it happily.

attention all LIVEWIRE readers:
          
          both ACT I and chapter one are going to be unpublished temporarily due to plot changes. i apologize immensely for the inconvenience; this, unfortunately, is my only remedy for a terrible block i've had for weeks on end (hello month-long radio silence). however, these changes, while constituting some form of reset, are largely minor, and current readers don't need to worry about substantial changes. the tweaks i am implementing add substance to the novel's overall foundation and promotes a maturity i wish to extend to each and every reader, both in content and skill, and so far, i really like the changes that are coming out of this.
          
          that being said, please be patient with me while these changes are underway. august was truly a Terrible time for me, both work wise and writing wise, and i want to use this time now (my birth month <3) to finally dust off these insecurities that seem to stay with me with every draft i complete and feel entirely confident in my work. i am making it my mission to be consistent as a writer, and plan to take advantage of the scheduling feature to bring you all new chapters weekly. change is a difficult thing, truly, but i believe you're going to love what's on the other side. i know i will.
          
          in the meantime, please pop in for a taste of the revamped cast and multimedia portion of LIVEWIRE (link is posted below). in addition to improved graphics, a few new faces can be seen, alongside a lengthened playlist i hope communicates the novel well and provides essential auditory nuance. i cherish you all so much, and i'll see you again very soon.

happy pride to the one of the first communities that made me feel at home. i wouldn’t be as realized as an individual without you all; whatever step you’re on in your own journey, i wish it to be easy and rejuvenating.
          
          working on a lot right now; i am now taking the plunge toward my master’s degree and i have finally discovered fulfillment in my career. that being said, i’ve had to step back from writing for a bit to take care of myself and the people i love, and it’s difficult to dig back into it, but i adore what’s coming out of it. reading back on my words makes me realize just how much i’ve grown from the girl terrified to live in her own body because of who she was attracted to into a woman determined to explore, illustrate, and pour my heart into the culture that defines me by refining my art.
          
          thank you so much for listening. i don’t know where my work will end up during this pride month, but i am constantly redirecting the inspiration you all have given me into publishing the strongest words i have ever written. happy pride.

alas, here it is, folks. the third chapter for seven nights is now available! apologies for the delay in posting; your girl got invisalign recently and is #coping with the soreness. this chapter also became MUCH much different than what i originally intended, but i feel it fits the narrative much better and gives incredible depth to laurel and june as people. it's also a love letter to my ancestry and touches upon one of the most personal parts of my life. i look forward to hearing your thoughts. beware, it is another monster of a chapter (seriously, take my keyboard away from me). proceed with intrigue and caution (mostly intrigue).

          i want to take the time to address and apologize for my abrupt radio silence at the end of april. many things came up during that time and took me away from social media for a while (all good, thankfully), but they’ve fallen into place and i have the intention to return soon.
          
          to my dearest friends and authors, expect a lot of notifications from me in the next week. i plan to catch up on a lot of reading and see what you have in store. on top of that, the newest chapter of seven nights is nearly fine tuned for publishing this week. it’s a tender one this time around for my lovers, but expect a LOT of pain to come afterward (sorry, it’s the development). i am so thankful to be back, especially in a good headspace, and i can’t wait to talk with you all soon.
