I read your "Bill Learns About Love" to twin girls and they asked me, "Is that story about two girls being together?" I told them yes, and I asked if they liked it. One of the girls lit up and said she loved it so so much! (They were raised in a very religious environment.) Thank you for helping me reach two 7 year olds about LGBTQ+ people! :D

Today is a painful day. Sometime between 4 and 6 o'clock this afternoon, Bilbo passed away. We were both in the house and it's unlikely he was in too much pain. He's had a wonderful life - it has been full of different experiences and a variety of people, tastes, textures. He was never alone for even when we weren't there, you all were. Every step of the way, you were in his corner. Always fighting. Bilbo will always be in all of our hearts - so full of joy and bursting with character. He's lived with me through so much heartache and pain but witnessed happiness and merriment, too. Please don't feel too sad. I am so grateful for all of your caring, gentle words throughout his precious life - and I have no doubt that he was, too. If any of you are too worried, I thought you'd like to know that he will be cremated so I can carry him with me in life - not just in my heart. We'll never forget you, Bilbo. None of us.
