Just a friendly reminder that my story entered in your awards (in the ChickLit category) is a mature story with explicit scenes and BDSM content. It is clearly marked ADULTS ONLY in the content advisory. The blurb also indicates that the material is inappropriate for young readers.
I have misgivings about being judged by a teenager. It's a liability issue.
I live in a deeply conservative part of the United States, where teachers, librarians, and writers frequently get accused of "grooming" for simply making LGBTQIAP+ books available to young readers - and those books don't have any sexual content whatsoever.
I've also seen older people on Wattpad accused of being predators for just being on Wattpad, since Wattpad has a lot of young users on it. And I'm old enough to be someone's grandparent. I exist on Wattpad. And I write erotic books (among other things). Everything I write is Wattpad-compliant, but a lot of it is not appropriate for minors.
I don't want to look like I am encouraging young people to read my erotica. It's nothing against you or your community - I'm just trying to make sure I stay out of trouble. I hope you understand.
I request that my book be assigned to an adult judge. If that is not possible, I request to withdraw it from the competition.

@heather_community - Oh, thank God! (And thank you). I'm sorry if I was overly forceful in expressing this. I've been on edge these past few weeks. Election Day is coming, I live in a neighborhood of right-wing types, some of whom have been getting a little boisterous of late; my house was vandalized a few weeks ago. So I'm just really, really nervous.
@SeraDrake Thank you for the warning. Your book is being judged by an adult, as some of the Chicklet books have been assigned to her. We had noticed it beforehand in your warning chapter and have taken the necessary actions to prevent the actual judge, who was a teenager, from judging, which meant splitting the ChickLit into two. So that we can ensure fair judging for you and not expose teenagers to your content.
