I read a lot during my primary and secondary school days, but my interest in poetry came to a head when I crossed paths with the works of the great William Shakespeare. His metered lines were something I had never met before. But midway through the sonnets I tried my hands at it, and I am writing sonnets today, and, as they say, the rest is history. Writing sonnets is my passion, and to me is like a rite of passage into something very mysterious, something very religious, sacred, pure, more than any art of man can describe or contain. I cannot put it into words! 
On a more sober note, I am a lawyer by training, and reading is my hobby.
