Okay, I'm so sorry for sending so many messages right now 
          
          But I just received a message on my message board, saying I have to follow some steps to verify my account etc so I don't use my publishing rights?
          
          I wanted to let y'all know that this is SCAM! If you receive such a message as well, then IGNORE IT!
          
          I deleted my previous message here since I added the link they sent me to show you it's a suspicious one but I didn't want anyone to accidentally click on it, so I deleted the message.
          
          But here are some reasons why the message is scam and how you know it:
          
          
          
          
          
           
          
          Fake sender identity: The sender name was “Strippertool” and this is NOT an official Wattpad account. Wattpad’s real communication comes from verified addresses or official domains, not random usernames!
          
          Suspicious link format: Like I said, the link was really weird, looking like 0x1...... and this is NOT a Wattpad domain. Real Wattpad links ALWAYS start with `https://www.wattpad.com` or similar secure subdomains.  
          
          Urgency tactic: Scammers often pressure you to act quickly (“within 24 hours”) to make you click without thinking. That's also what the message said on my board.
          
          Account verification scam: Wattpad doesn’t ask users to verify accounts through external links. Why would they? You already created your account and are using it, so why verify it? Especially since I created my account years ago, some of you as well. All legitimate verification happens inside your account settings or official emails!
          
          So: Do NOT click the link or share any personal details. Report the message and delete it and block the sender to prevent further contact.

          I'm sorry I think I won't update NMF today. I know I said I would but my pet rabbit died this morning and I simply don't want to focus on the story right now.
          
          Maybe I'll have some energy boost and do it then, but I think I won't......
