HENYA DRESCHER comes from a rich cultural background. She was born in France to Polish parents, raised in Israel and came to America with her family when she was 17. A voracious reader, Henya began writing when she was 13 and, although for 20 years her career path was in the cosmetic industry, she has continued to write regularly for the past four decades. Several years ago, Henya made the decision to pursue a writing career. She enrolled with Hunter College, where she majored magna cum laude in English literature and gained her degree in 2002. She has had short stories published in The Olivetree Review and The Berkshire Review. An avid writer and reader of thrillers, she has joined the International Thriller Writers Organization. 

In the last six years, Henya has completed two novels and is working on one other novel. Aside from writing, her passions include lifting weights, cultivating her large garden, painting, and driving long distances. She and her husband reside in New York City.
