— They say the dead watch from the stars. They say StarClan guides the Clans through every hardship, every famine, every battle. Yet lately, the forest feels wrong. The nights have grown quieter, as though the woods themselves are holding their breath. Shadows linger too long between the trees, and strange sounds echo through the darkness when no cat should be there to make them. Warriors wake from dreams that leave them unsettled, carrying fragments of warnings they cannot understand. Fresh prey disappears without a trace, unfamiliar scents drift across long-established borders, and whispers of looming danger spread from den to den. As tensions rise between ValleyClan and MountainClan, distrust begins to take root.
— One thing, however, has become impossible to ignore: the forest is changing. Ancient secrets are beginning to surface, loyalties will be tested, and the choices made beneath the pines may shape the fate of the Clans for generations to come. Not every voice that speaks in the dark can be trusted . . . and not every cat who claims to serve the light truly walks beneath the stars.
