yeah! there are a few accounts posting art pretty regularly over there, and even the non-artists are really active with their liveblogging during streams and analysis of new vids.
i follow an essayist who posts amazing (and super long long) analysis, i cant get through all of them but its so impressive to see how much thought people put into lore and fics even now. and on tumblr its easy to find new oneshots too.
everyone's just talking and stuff, and the culture on tumblr is a lot more tight-knit (im kind of scared to interact with anyone over there lol but its great even to lurk)
and my husband sometimes sends me reels of people who are still doing cosplay and talking about the smp on other sites! :)
The comments sections have been improving too- ive seen it flip back from hate to kind reminiscing and its been amazing seeing things heal. honestly the fandom feels a lot less chaotic now that there are less people in it from all the exoduses haha
you just have to look in the right places :P
tho as you mentioned, I'm sure having more responsibilities makes it harder to even see fandom stuff too
