Hey sweet souls! It's been a long time! I'm healthy and thriving! In fact i launched my own business. Just little cozy handmade candles! (A baby step towards the empire I want to build) You can follow me there at @Odetteandcoo on Instagram aside from that, I'm currently writing a new story (just practicing my writting in it so it's not a huge project), and unfortunately I won't be continuing writing Raven's Reckoning, i just don't feel connected with that storyline anymore. I'll also soon take down A twist of fate as I'm working on re-writing it with 100x better plot and more of a SAGA than a series. I'm currently re-writing Raven's Reckoning, so it's best for new readers to hold off on reading it for now. I've deactivated all my Instagram accounts and will be temporarily deleting Wattpad too.
For months, I’ve been saying I’ll be back soon, yet I keep disappearing everytime I show up. And I’ve finally realized why, I’ve started writing for others instead of for myself. Somewhere along the way, the pressure and expectations became louder than my own passion, and that’s been quietly killing my connection to my stories. I keep thinking of others, "what will they feel if don't upload now?" "They are waiting, i better hurry up" "Are they already done with me?"
So this time, I’m stepping away completely, without promises or timelines. Maybe by vanishing from the noise, I’ll finally return to writing for me, for my characters, for the love that started it all.
I understand if you're frustrated or feel distant from my work. But right now, I need to choose myself above everything else. And when I do return, hopefully, it’ll be as someone who never has to disappear again.
