Hi y'all! Guess who decided to drop by after 4 entire years while revisiting her Harry Potter days. I'm honestly on the verge of tears. Wattpad was my comfort place during my early teen years, and honestly, for a long time, this community of people I was connected to through shared interests and fandoms— it was home. Looking back as a seventeen year old, I've evolved so much as a human being since then, in terms of character, interests, and whatnot. Gone is the little girl who found solace here, but that doesn't mean I've let go of the memories. And I honestly miss you all so so much— Sam, Riley, Hannah, Lexi, Kait, Eva and everyone else. Even after all this time, I love all of you so much. Always.
I see Wattpad's removed the dm option, and I'm upset— I've lost my chats with so many lovely people.
Nostalgia is a bittersweet feeling. I still remember the time so many of us were here and the wattpad community was thriving during COVID and after that. Most of us have moved on with our lives now and aren't active anymore. But even now, wattpad has a profound place in my heart and I cherish those days, because of all of you.
