this is a teardrop for the pained
          who scream inside and feel insane
          this is a bandaid for the broken
          with burning hearts bleeding emotions
          
          this is a torchlight for the lost
          caged in constantly changing thoughts

          i hope your day's going amazing and that you're taking enough rest, hydrating and eating in time <3 if you're not then you better do! i hope that you experience that kind of euphoria where you'll feel grateful that you didn't end your life on that vulnerable day. the scars on your wrists, thighs which you hide underneath long sleeved shirts are a reminder of the battles you fought, and why, why you shouldn't go through it again. i know self harm might be a form of release for you. for some it's to see if they feel pain because they don't know anymore if they're alive or not. for others, they believe they deserve the pain and inflict it on themselves. none of what went wrong or what's going wrong is your fault. remember that everyone is tested to see how strong they are and this might be that moment. so don't think about ending it all and being called a coward, think about making it through and living as a survivor. once again, baby steps.
