In the process of drafting plans for my 'Bloodhounds' fic "Dog-Eat-Dog" I actually ended up making a completely different OC for Season 2 lmaooo And so, the abstract chapter for that fic has just been released!! Please give "DOG'S DINNER" some love if you look forward to more. And also, just a little fun fact about this new OC: her name is Sora Nakashima, and she is a Soledad Lopez variant heheheheee ❤️❤️

@blooming_amethyst again thinking about it, I didn't hate the season like it had moments when I was genuinely having a good time- The fight scenes held up to last seasons, too!!- But I just can't ignore some of those annoying choices that the writers made with the plot... I think the kidnapping attempts of Momma Yoon were getting a bit repetitive, and only for the end to go how it did?? The Police Captain leading the team really didn't do anything except make it easier for the bad guys to get to Gunwoo... He was low-key the real villain lmaoo

@hoseokgf_real I meant our 6’1 ft tall man who had his She Was Pretty reunion with Choi Siwon, lol! But seeing that he and his wife survived, I don’t know how but THANK YOU! I kinda have to give it to Choi Siwon’s character because someone did what needed to be done. Putting them in prison doesn’t do anything so just kill them. His cousin sticking to that bs of lock these guys so they can reflect? Okay and watch them not be sorry and escape like a certain someone did.
@blooming_amethyst Rain as the villain was crazy!! He delivered 10/10, but I wish we could've gotten more on his character from the writers; literally just like a flashback or something like they did with Myeonggil and Mr. Choi
..... Finished s2 of Bloodhounds and I've got thoughts...good?? bad?? i don't know... I can't say that I hate it because I honestly didn't. I enjoyed the kdrama for what it was and of course that I loved every minute of WDH and LSY back on my screen as Kim Gun-woo and Hong Woojin (and like, a couple other new characters that I surprisingly got attached to as well). But, the thing is, it still felt a little slow?? and for a 7 episode season, that's kind of a problem I think, by the 3rd episode I was already wanting it to wrap up.... Actually now that I sit with my thoughts a little more I think the issue for me was that the action-thriller plot lacked a deeper psychological tension behind it. And I could see pieces of it show through with Kim Gunwoo and also Hong Woojin a times--- but instead of the kdrama focusing too much on the "game-plan" exposition scenes, I guess I wish they would've sat with those psychological tension moments for their characters more....
@hoseokgf_real that was what annoyed me the first season. After everything that the bad guys had done, y’all are going to let them live?!
@blooming_amethyst But the fighting was so good! I appreciated the heck out of those moments, literally what kept me seated and watching lololol
@blooming_amethyst yes!! there were dumb decisions left and right Mia!! thank you for validating my thoughts omg I was going crazy thinking it was just me that was the problem here... I needed them to double down on the bromance the brotherhood of it all and like go after the bad guys but nooooo- so much of the screentime was taken up by the CEO's "and so, this is how we are gonna be doing things; let us handle it, don't worryy the law's got it handled"---- NAUURRRR no one wants that!!!
BLOODHOUNDS SEASON 2 LET’S GOOOOO!!! (Actually tho, after watching just the 1st episode I will say that this Netflix lighting is getting ridiculous, but I'm willing to put up with it for Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi)
