Hunter grew up with both parents, and two sisters in the house. Growing up he was very family oriented. He would drop anything so that he could be with family. He believed that family should come first no matter what. Hunter enjoyed swimming and being outside throughout his childhood. Hunter just enjoyed being outdoors with nature. He enjoyed hiking through the woods with his cousins at their grandparents house. This could lead to Hunter having a softer side and not writing about death and gore and what not.
Hunter was raised as a christian and has carried that throughout his life. He believed that you should treat others how you wish to be treated, "eye for an eye." Hunter likes to stick to the rules and listen. Hunter believes that you should still have fun though, so sometimes it is ok for rules to be broken. His christian background and set of values are shown through his characters and their actions.
Hunter in his spare time likes to read fiction books along with murder-mystery stories. Hunter enjoys the works of James Dashner, Suzanne Collins, Brandon Mull, Veronica Roth, Cornelia Funke, and Jeanne DuPrau. Hunter enjoys these pieces of work because of the style of writing that they use, also the genre. Hunter shows this by writing mostly fictions pieces. Hunter has not wrote a vast amount of stories. Hunter has also wrote many essays and other pieces of work throughout his high school experience. Hunter's favorite work was his life motto speech he had to write in eleventh grade. His quote was, "Just keep swimming," from Finding Nemo. This speech was about staying positive and just keep trying.
Hunter has not wrote a vast amount of work so Hunter does not necessarily know his author's voice yet. Hunter's work might include many different styles of writing. His work will most likely include sarcasm, humor, metaphors, and personification.
