Bc i write stuff that is canobically located in Japan, i try to use the right honorifics andstay in character.
Like using the surname and using -san (or with Hiyoko using -chan, cuz in the japanese version she calls everybody like that. I know is usually for females, but according to what she says, is fine when refering 2 guy)
But rn i was wonderin how to use em better so quick thing
San=Most common, gender neutral, for ppl u dont really know
Chan=For young women to old ladies that u know or r related 2
Kun=same as chan byt 4 gyts AND It’s usually used by people seen as superior, since this honorific is mostly used when one person of higher status is talking to a younger person
Sama=most formal one, 4 ppl that r higher status than u
