@iamloid I live in California, a lot of Filipinos live here. My town does not have a lot of Filipino stores, but if you go to the Bay Area (Northern CA) they have a Goldilocks, Valerio, Jolibee and other stores you can find in the Philippines. It's alright, many think I was born in the US, until I tell them. In fact, I used to volunteer in a hospital. I was walking with this old lady who kept bragging about how her Caucasian son married a beautiful Filipino Lady, have beautiful kids since they are mixed and how she learned Tagalog. By the time we got to our destination, I was 'one ear and out the other' meaning I tuned out. (I didn't mean to be rude, but why was she telling me this? My job was just to take her to her to another building. Yes, I'm an introvert at times and I don't like to converse when I'm on the job. I don't like to gossip like my cousins do.) So I just said to the old lady, "Well, here we are, it's been nice talking to you and I wish you and your family the best. " I'm pretty modest.
Yes, it would be nice to meet another Wattpad friend. I met one whose from Canada. She came to visit her cousin in San Jose, so we had a short meet-up.
