Dear Beloved Readers,
It has been years since I have last provided an update. I am announcing my return to writing.
I want to take a moment and talk about the last several years of my life.
I began writing, after not writing in ten years, after I dropped out of college due to a traumatic experience. The pandemic began and I was in therapy, writing was used as a tool for me to distract but also to process my own experiences and emotions.
As the pandemic came to a close, I moved across the country thousands of miles away from home. I have now been in my new state for five years and have a career in the making.
My main reason for posting this long update is to talk about the future of Evermore. Over the years, I have read the comments and posts on my page.
I didn’t write Evermore for praise or love, I wrote it as an expression of self. Evermore for me specifically was an emotional exercise for me to push through and challenge myself to find passion in life again and to process what had happened to me.
With all that said, the outpour of love, kindness, and support I have received for my writing on Evermore has not gone unnoticed. It has actually played a role in me wanting to return but I have been terrified to commit and fail.
I am currently searching for a new beta reader to help me review the outlines I have and to review the drafts of future chapters.
With all that said, I am hoping to post a new Evermore chapter in March 2026. I don’t have a specific date yet but will announce that as it gets closer to complete. As far as a regular schedule I am looking at once a month updates moving forward.

@LadyElena112 hi a month later! had some life changes! i lowkey need someone to hold me accountable the next chapter is ready i just need to post haha. honestly when reviewing and editing i found the story was more compelling in first person. the emotional weight of characters just tended to flow more. i originally wrote chapter one in first person but ended up posting in second for the rest of the chapter i had written because it seemed to be what audiences wanted tbh.
@idontkayl hii Kayl, it's so good seeing you back here! I really hope you're doing better now I'd love to be your beta reader but I fear I'm a bit too busy for it as I fear being a dead weight I also have a question out of mere curiosity. Why is it that you're changing to first person? I wish you all the best
Also as a note: I am reviewing the older chapters and making changes to the verb tense and reader perception will be changed to first person. I will continue to not use any names or descriptions of the reader, so as you’re seeing updates the bulk has not changed but there are some added sentences in several chapters.
Hope your doing well! I am obsessed with evermore, its honestly probably the best theo nott fanfic ive read so far. Your writing is beautiful, you really have a way of making me feel like im a part of the story. I cannot wait for an update/hope to get one soon.
