I live and write my stories in the Pacific Northwest, drawing ideas and inspiration from the misty, moody atmosphere.  Shadows and spirits wander restlessly among the towering evergreens and weeks of endless rain.  I've traveled around the world many times, but this is the only place I feel layers upon layers of a spiritual world existing just beyond our perception.  From ancient humans, to Native Americans, to 19th century pioneers and farmers, the mysterious Pacific Northwest is a haunting hotspot.  I don't know what's bound so many spirits to the land I call home, I just try to live in peace with their presence and let them go about their otherworldly business.
