How do they all tie in together? Why do the Italians and Russians hate each other ? Why specially does adrik not like ademaro? Also who killed jido and I don’t understand the letter entries ? Who hid them and adrik had them all along ?

in hideaway, alessio has to pretend to be in a relationship with greta, which later is given to nico so he could kill her, basically because he’s crazy and just wants to kill ykwim..
getaway is about a russian royalty (adrik) which in order to up his image has to marry someone.
silvio ademaro is also in the italian mafia.
silvio went to egypt and met the daughter of the president (jido) and got her pregnant. the italians have a “rule” that the whole bloodline has to be italian only, so he came back to italy, leaving his daughter (celina) in egypt.
adrik chooses one of silvio’s daughter to marry, but he ends up messing up the daughters. adrik doesn’t like anyone and is lowkey evil but anyways BAHAHAHA
the stories tie together because they are all on the same universe, hideaway being the first, runaway second and getaway last.
jido always had a special place in his heart for celina, that’s why he wrote those diaries, to help her. i can’t quite put my mind on who had them but i thinkkkkk it was sitto IDKK..
basically getaway is about this marriage, because adriks sister (zlata) is in new york and in order for her to come back, he made an arrangement with silvio so he could help zlata. zlata is “kidnapped” because danny pisses off the russians so zlata eventually goes to nyc, sleeps with danny so she can get information out of him. silvio helps adrik so zlata can come back.
nico and alessio are a duo basically because he knows he’s rosso.

getaway is the best book. i feel there’s the most tension and the characters are !!

@iloveurgutsss the ending is the only reason why it's famous and probably the only reason I remember the ending, because not many main characters die in books (not that I've seen)
if it didn’t end the way it did it wouldn’t be famous. the writing is terrible and the story is okay
