Hey girliee, how did you get so many views on your book? Did you promote using tik tok? I've tried so many ways and am stuck in the hundreds when it comes to views on my book. I'm starting to think my writing really isn't good enough :(

Hihiii!! First of all let me tell you how glad I am that you wrote me, I’d love to give some tips!
To be fair I started writing in a niche sector (a fanfic) which helped me gain views and recognition. Finding a sector like that helps to draw in people that like a specific type of book, and from there you build up your base. It’s good to have a constant uploading schedule for you chapters as well, so people don’t give up on your book. If they have to wait too long for updates, they usually forget about the plot and stop reading all together. So I suggest you write some chapters in advance and release them in a regular interval.
TikTok did help with additional views, but it was not my main source. I only started an account after writing my second book :)
Having a good description of your book is one of the main things that you need to look out for as well. Add tags to it so that people who usually read that type of book get it as suggestions. For example I had “abused” as a tag and my story was in the top suggestions for quite some time as more and more people get drawn to it. Was that clear?

So that was the review I posted on Goodreads on Zodiac Academy book #1: “I hate them. I hate them and once again I hate THEM. By them I mean the Heirs. How can they be so terrible, cruel, tyrannical with the twins? My blood is boiling. The plot is great, and I’m eager to see more of the Vega Twins. Can’t say the same about the Heirs…” My review is so short because I just HAD to jump to the second book immediately.
