Let me tell you all about my pen name...
"Clio" is taken from the muse of history in Greek mythology, mainly due to the fact that I'm fascinated by history - it doesn't really matter which country's history, as long as it's history, and as long as it's in English. I don't really fare well when it's in another language. But I'm a bit fine if it's in German, though. c: But with what little German I know... xD 

"Kane" is taken from the surname of Carter and Sadie Kane in the Kane Chronicles. I don't really have any reasons why. I just like these two. They're kind of like Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, respectively. xD For me, I mean. c:
