I finally get to say it!!! I’ve kept it secret since October but:
          
          Below The Belt won a watty for Best Characters. Being put on the shortlist was already insane, but to have actually won a category is absolutely mind blowing to me. When I first started writing BtB, I never even wanted to post it because I thought it wasn’t that good or that my writing wasn’t good enough to keep anyone engaged, but now I’m a watty winner. Thank you to everyone who got me here ❤️

HAPPIEST BIRTHDAYS TO YOUUUUU! 

While doing research for on the ropes (because I need most of what I write to be accurate) I found out that there has only been one openly gay boxer who exclusively came out while still being an active fighter, which is apparently Orlando Cruz who came out in 2012 and only retired in 2018. No other boxers have openly come out about being lgbt since him. Interesting to know, shout out to him 

Writing before you create a fan base is so funny. Like I’m really just writing this for me and hoping for the best
