Today is a very important day in many people’s lives including mine as it regards Layne and Kurt’s passing. I miss these two so much. I have never met them but I feel like I know them personally. Their music just connects to me and many other fans. The introduction to their music was like finding a new escape root in my life.

Finding their music through my brother was like going on a little journey. This journey helped me through all my ups and downs. I’m still on this journey. I don’t think this journey will ever end. Just like my love for these two will never vanish. These two prominent figures in my life won’t ever fade. I hope their legacy will continue to thrive.

They very much deserve the love in this grunge community. They were such brilliant people that spoke to nearly everyone’s soul. Everyone’s different but their music could apply to anyone. That’s what I love about them. No matter what you’re going through you can still relate to them. I think their music could still reach out to people decades later since it focused on genuine emotions.

Although this day is about Kurt and Layne, I would still apply this to the many other stars that unfortunately passed away. That includes musicians and non-musicians. Music can speak to everyone’s soul and mind. I just so happen to love how these two did it. I know they’re in a better place and today we should celebrate their life instead of making it gloomy. I’m grateful that they were still able to make music when they were alive. ❤️
