As both my parents are pastors, I refused to write a novel that contains nudity, violence, and profanity. But when I did, I never showed them my work, knowing that I'll get a sermon that would end with, "We'll keep praying for you." Though if given a chance to get published, they're going to see my work and the abundance of my heart, expressed with words. They will probably disown me-- but I hope it happens. (wink) 

No, I love my parents. They've given me a good education and protected me from drugs, which is why I'm an aspiring writer instead of a struggling musician.

Once I was a snowflake
A life forgotten like any dream of mine
I was one in a million, a single design
Falling from heaven, drifting in the wind
I wonder where it'd take me
I wonder where I'll be found
But what is life but a journey
From heaven to the ground
