I was wondering if you will update your story, add a new chapter, or simply give us a status update. If you are worried about backlash from the most recent chapter in your story, then don't worry. All these bozos who were reading your story were the ones who reached this point in your story, despite all the nonsense that happened in it, so they are the weird ones for continuing to absorb this content, and then say its bad. If they wanted to say you sucked, they would've said it sooner.
Besides, I think your story is neat, just has a couple of plot holes that, if you continue writing, will hopefully get patched up! Plus, you could "write" some wrongs that you made in your story (like a 100 or so year old machine kissing a 15 year old boy, despite reading a book on human etiquette.). Besides, I just need something more to read. I haven't ever posted a message on a profile before, so that's how you know I'm desperate for some new content. Plus, your story has a LARGE amount of untapped potential, and you can only tap into more of that potential by writing.
However, if you are going through writers block, or any of the sort, it would be nice if you could give us an update. There are, as you said, 6.9k+ people who are interested in your story, despite how cringe you think it is. And this crowd is confused on what is happening, maybe even worrying that you have passed on from this realm and moved on to the afterlife. If you cannot write, it would be good if you gave us a lil' status update. And if you are dead... rest in peace, mah dudd.
Anyways, it'd be nice if we got some news. I have basically came to your story daily just to check if something new came out. Hope you have fun writing what it is you want to write!
