A few random things about me.
-I am a marketing writer/editor for my day job.
-I once got to speak at NASA (guided tour included!).
-I rescue worms off the sidewalk after it rains.
-I have a masters in medieval history.
-I am an INTJ, a Mac, and a Ravenclaw.
-I write futuristic cyberpunk stories, and also historical mysteries set in the 1920s. Yes, it makes no sense.
On the right you'll find a little historical short story I wrote years ago, and a work in progress cyberpunk space opera.
The story, John Robert, was an exercise from the Iowa Writers Workshop. (I don't really write short stories.) The seminar leader gave us each a vintage photo and asked us to write a character piece. I'd always wanted to write something with an unreliable narrator, to see if the truth came through.
Jaren's story is pretty different. I'd be surprised if there are many people out there who'd find them both appealing, so if you do, say hi so I can follow you!
Thanks in advance for reading, shelving or following my work. If you take the time to like or comment I promise to be sure to reciprocate and read yours. I'm a big fan of reciprocity!
Cheers!
