March's short story for Patreon is called Project Milton. This one is about a trans guy who gets the opportunity to bring his cat back to life ten years later. But a lot has changed in that time, the boy is now transitioning, and his cat doesn't recognise him.

February's short story for Patreon is called D(ist)ress. It is a disconnected sequel to a previous short story, Reflections. Reflections took place in a playground, featuring two trans children, Nicholas and Laura, and talks about identity and the importance of friendship.
D(ist)ress is set a few years later, still following Nicholas and Laura, this time navigating family situations and Christmas.
So far the feedback has been "I'm not crying, you're crying", so if that's your reading vibe, check it out.

Hey there folks,
Just a quick little announcement. I've started up a Patreon. My plan here is to post a new short story every month. January's is available, as well as 6 pre-existing short stories. This means I will no longer be posting new, unreleased short stories on this account. If you wish to continue to read my work, please consider subscribing to my Patreon, or following me on social media.
As well as these short stories (which I hope to eventually release as a short story collection), I am working on a novel (or 3, depending on how you look at it). I will possibly be posting snippets of this on my Patreon as well, in the future.
Please continue to read the work that is available here and give it love as you see fit, and feel free to get in touch through comments or messages if you've got any questions or just wanna say hi.
          Thanks again, happy reading!
          - Jake

Hey folks,
Just another quick little announcement! I've started a substack page. It's mostly going to be writing updates and book reviews, but might also (in the future) have other project updates and first-looks.
Check it out if that sounds like your thing, it's free to subscribe (meaning the posts will get emailed to you rather than just sitting on the blog).

Hey everyone!
I keep forgetting I can make announcements here... *sigh*
Anyway, just popped in to let you all know my second poetry book, The Seeds All Turned to Dust, is now out!
Again, this is available on my ko-fi page as a PDF or physical copy (these will be sent out in a few weeks).
It has the same number of poems as book 1 and follows the same format. Poems, and illustrations to accompany them. While the first book was written across a wide range of time, this was almost exclusively written across 2021 and 2022, with a few older "lost" poems.
Check it out if poetry is your thing :)

Hey everyone! Haven't really updated anything in a while, but I thought I'd stop in to let you know I've released a poetry book!
The book contains a selection of poems I've written between 2012 and 2021, with accompanying illustrations.
It's called The Flowers Never Really Grew and is available for purchase through my ko-fi page or by contacting me directly. It's also listed on Goodreads.

@lexbugplus5 You are more than welcome! It is amazing thank you so much for writing it! I actually sent the link to my friend and they loved it too. It was really nice to see that kind of take on a classic and so well written! Keep it up! :)
