J. Aly Jay was born in Paris, France. She was in Paris for 6 years, then she went to Mississippi, USA . She went to school in the United Stated for the rest of her school years. When she graduated high school, she then worked as a waiter at a restaurant, but soon found out that wasn't the job for her. She always liked writing so then she started writing stories. Her first novel was "The Horse at Dawn" and lots of people liked the novel. When she was 18 years old, she wrote her second novel "Dream Along the River", for this novel, she got a lot of views and lots of people bought the novel. She is still writing novels today.
