**WILT*ing**~~
Oh, dainty wallflower who wafts contentedly among trodden cement thorns
How Naively tall and graceful u bend and sway in the afternoon breeze
Oh, to trust the spontaneity of nature's crooning
The wind picks up and you are caught bewildered as your garments tangle like chains
the twilight hour fast approaches and your limbs shiver and prickle with a foreign fear
For as the walllower stands alone, undesirable and plain to the roving eye,
Twas nightfall that brings a brand new rhyme
A burden to bewitch, i ask?
or, in contradiction, to wish to bewitch??
Though the wallflower is guilty of neither.
So, do tell me,
why do her precious wrappings and velveteen stem lie trampled in a heap of disarray
Nary before daybreak concedes to day??
Why does the wallflower crawl on her fervent knees to pray
For a transgressional healing she was never deemed to pay??
In sinner's filth she grovels to save those unwilling to be saved....
A futility amiss... Yet she persists -
The wallflower awakens hope
day after following day!!
