            Book 1: *Bite Me, Affectionately*
            Book 2: *Bite Me, Affectionately: Blood Moon*
            Book 3: *Bite Me, Affectionately: Venom and Verdant*
            So yes, the titles keep getting longer. At this rate, Book 10 will probably need its own table of contents.
            (And before my unhinged best friends start celebrating—NO, this is not a confirmation that there will be ten books. Please stop opening your calculators and plotting my future workload.

            Put the chopsticks  down.)
            
            Basically, the story follows a group of spring-born immortals searching for the legendary Silver Soul—the only being capable of ending their immortality.
            
            The problem?
            
            Nobody actually knows what "ending their immortality" means.
            
            Do they finally become human and get to live normal lives?
            
            Or does "ending" mean exactly what it sounds like... they die?
            
            So they're on a quest to find the one person who can free them, while simultaneously wondering if they're speedrunning their own funeral.
            
            Fun times.
            
            So that's what this series is all about.
            
            Book 1: *Bite Me, Affectionately* — immortals searching for the mysterious Silver Soul.
            
            Then the Blood Moon showed up, caused problems, ruined everyone's peace, and somehow became an entire second book.
            
            Book 2: *Bite Me, Affectionately: Blood Moon* — because apparently the characters weren't suffering enough.
            
            Then came the readers:
            
            "Author, where did the vampires go?"
            
            "What happened to the werewolves?"
            
            "Weren't they also chasing the Silver Soul?"
            
            And suddenly I found myself staring at a blank document at 2 A.M., realizing they had a point.
            
            Thus, Book 3 was born.
            
            *Bite Me, Affectionately: Venom and Verdant*
            
            Proof that sometimes stories are created by inspiration...
            
            ...and sometimes by readers refusing to let plot threads die peacefully.

            And I’m really sorry for your loss. I know grief is strange like that — sometimes it doesn’t hit immediately because your mind is still trying to protect you from the full weight of it. Then one random day, in the middle of something ordinary, it suddenly feels real all over again.
            
            I honestly feel lucky too that I have a bunch of unhinged friends who refuse to let me stay rotting peacefully inside my cave and instead drag me across cities, airports, and chaotic adventures. This trip reminded me how important people are, especially the ones who keep showing up even when life gets heavy.
            
            So even if I’m only your virtual friend, I’m genuinely wishing you strength and softer days ahead. I hope you have people around you who will sit with you through the quiet moments too, not just the loud ones. I am just one message away.

@janvierbeau Welcome back Author.  You have been missed especially when  I love your chaos and making me laugh.  This hits at a great time for me personally.  My mom recently passed  as in a few days ago.  Honestly not sure if the sadness will ever hit.  We never really saw eye to eye on well almost everything. Anyway a good kidnapping by friends is appreciated sometimes.  Take care and good luck getting the savings back for your next adventure(s).
