Gotcha! I did the same thing for my HxH stories and two others. One of my KNY covers I actually made myself and I LOVE it, but it was a pain in my rear to do, so that's not something I'd do again lol.
As for your decision about my offer, I do have a few little favors to ask of you IF you agree to it. Nothing huge, still no fees. All I ask is that you follow me back and give me a bit of credit saying that I did the editing. Again, nothing big.
It doesn't need to be a whole declaration, just a lil footnote like "Edited by MochiSpaceMoose222" or something along those lines.
Oh, and another thing I could maybe help you with is the development of your OC. I'm loving her a lot so far! Her sass makes me laugh. I could send you my HxH OC Profile if you want that kind of thing for her. Feel free to use it as a reference guide or whatever, if you want. The method you have right now with the whole picture situation is a little confusing for my brain to pick apart and I don't know if that's the same for your other readers, or if it's just me. NOT THAT IT'S BAD, BECAUSE IT'S REALLY NOT. It's just that in my opinion, I think it's important to understand a character's mind, otherwise we only get the physicality of them, which I think is kinda shallow. (idk if that's the right way of putting it. I'm trying my best here.) I've noticed people feel more for your character if you include a more personal, emotional side to them.

If that seems like too much, I'd totally get it because it's pretty deep dope to try to write.
As for the fear factor of posting... I FEEL IT IN MY SOUL. That's definitely the hardest part about being a writer. I'm actually TERRYFIED of what people really think of my writing. But if you think about it, the scariest thing is clicking "Publish". Once that's done, it's over. And if people don't like what you write, they can suck your big toe. As long as YOU love it, that's what matters.
