Chapter 17 of Cross-Checked will be posted today, and tomorrow's the final chapter!!
          
          Gosh, I'm cutting it too close. It's only 4 days left before the final Round 3 submission, and I just finished the novella. It's only 13 words shy of 40k words! Talk about cutting it too close!
          
          I have struggled to finish this novella because I wrote almost 13k words for the last three chapters and I had to condense it down to 8k words to not go over the 40k threshold!
          
          Ahhhhh.. I can't wait to submit and start rewriting everything for The Wattys!!!

Chapter 15 of Cross-Checked drops tomorrow! The novella is now at 31,992 words. The limit's only 40k words. I feel like compressing the ending of the novella in 8k words for three chapters will be the most excruciating and challenging thing as a writer!
          
          Ahhhhh! send help.
          
          I can't wait to finish this novella, send it for Round 3 and begin editing the story to a full-on 80k Novel for the upcoming Watty Awards!!!

It is crunch time! I have exactly 16 days to finish my novella in time for the Round 3 submission. In my drafts, I have already hit the 20k words milestone but my story isn't finished yet. I'm currently rewriting and editing a few new chapters and will start posting them daily starting this coming Saturday until the story is complete. I may exhaust the 40k-word limit and wait until the 30th to submit for Round 3 but we'll get there when we get there!

Hey guys! Just a heads up, Chapter 8 of HNTFILWAC will be posted on Sunday 06/09 at 10am PHT this week. I've written the entire chapter already, just needed a proofread and polish but I'm tied up with deadlines at work before the weekend hits. Ugh, this particular Friday sucks. (I worked at night by the way :D)
          
          But the chapter is longer at 5k words! SO that's that... :)
