I am in love with words. Some cannot comprehend this, and thus chastise my adoration, the necessity for me to express with language. They insist that I am full of empty syllables and spewing strings of letters to resist feeling altogether. 'What if you felt so intensely that you would find any way to turn the carbon monoxide choking your heart into the oxygen keeping you alive?' Words are not resistance. They are survival.
