Hello!

My name is Jessica Jeanne, or J.J. if you'd like, and I'm an English major in Oregon. 
Within my university, I was accepted into a writing program for poets, and since then I've felt inspired to branch out a bit more by posting some of my work here. My poetry book is called "Little Black Book of Poetry," and it's designed to be a compilation of immersive poetry that I hope will be more open-ended and less analytical.

I absolutely ADORE birds. Currently, I have 4 parrots, two being blue and gold macaws, another being a cockatoo, and the final being a blind African Grey. More likely than not there will eventually be a bird poem in my compilation. 😅 
My favorite literary genre is general fiction, though I'm also a fan of young adult writing! Some of my favorite novels are "Three Dark Crowns," "Small Great Things," and "Me Before You." I also am incredibly interested in early English fiction such as "Mansfield Park" and "Clarissa."
