I've always dreamed of traveling the world and seeing the endless beauty it has to offer. When I was a little girl I'd flip through my dad's extensive collection of National Geographics in awe of the beautiful photography each page had to offer.



It was reading the articles of those same pages that lead to my love for the written word. Of course, my reading has since evolved to various genres of all sorts of lengths. 



Today, I am an avid reader, a writer, a blogger, and even an artist. I have a Master of Fine Arts in Writing, and graduated with two degrees prior to the MFA. I write both fiction and nonfiction short stories, and am working on my first novel series. 



The artist side of me works primarily in charcoal and graphite creating beautiful portraits from photographs. In my downtime, I enjoy exploring other mediums of art, such as photography and digital design. 



I'm met my husband of 14 years in high school and married him shortly after graduation. We have two fur animals and enjoy our time together relaxing with the dogs, or trying out the local cuisine.
