Before there were Bennifer and Brangelina, there was "Joymie." (^_^) 

Born Filipino, naturalized Canadian, adopted Korean. Bumblebee to the core. Perfectly imperfect. Imperfectly perfect. Avid reader, frustrated writer and a daydreamer. 

I have a dayjob so writing is more like an escape. An escape for all the voices in my head that needed to be heard and read. I was an avid reader first which spawned the love of writing. My writing was rooted in writing book and movie reviews. My epiphany of writing full-length story came last year. I’m not the best at it but as I see glasses half-full, I know I will only get better each step of the way from learning from the best and hearing the readers' feedbacks/comments. I love horror, mystery and good old romcom. I cry easily, I even cry watching commercials, so I avoid dramas. 

I love to sing, in fact I do mini-concerts at home while cooking and washing dishes. I can sing Let It Go in 25 languages. That won me 2nd place in our company's first ever talent competition. I should have won 1st place if my nerves didn't get the better of me - that's what I thought but my friends thought otherwise - I should have won period. Ah friends!
