I'm currently reading Oak Hotel to pick up the characters for the sequel. Is that your recommended order? It seems such a different setting.

Hello!
The Oak Hotel is a separate story, though one that takes place in the same universe as Glassmage. There is a crossover of the Mioglasi later on in The Oak Hotel.

Glassmage Oblivion is the sequel to the first Glassmage book. Oblivion takes place one year after the events of the first book. Here is a link:

Reading The Oak Hotel before Oblivion, however, would be beneficial because there are elements of The Oak Hotel in the Glassmage sequel. Many elements are explained and further connected.

Let me know what you think as you go along.
          	  Thanks again for reading! =)
