I have always loved writing and campy horror movies so I decided to combine the two. I base a lot of the facts and lore in Unseen on the folklore I grew up listening to. My characters are based in my reality as a disabled person. I've always had a respect and appreciation for taboo and uncomfortable parts sub-cultures. I grew up surrounded by people of all walks of life nor did I see strong disabled characters in media, so I wanted to create something that I needed growing up.
