Hello my friends! I come bearing a new story… sort of? I have been mulling over whether or not to bring this story to Wattpad because I'm trying to diversify where I put my writing. However, I bit the bullet and decided to do it! May I introduce: The Dating App Bad Boy!
Now, this isn't a completely new story. One of my very first stories that I uploaded to Wattpad was a romance called "The Day You Walked into my Life". Some of my readers/followers may or may not remember it. The two main characters are Olivia and Lucas (if that jogs your memories) and it has been a story I've held onto for a few years now as I tried to figure out how to edit it.
Well, I wrote a story for Radish back when it was still around and it was called "The Dating App Bad Boy". Never got it finished, didn't click with the story nor the characters BUT I realized something: this would be the perfect combination for TDYWIML! I already have that story figured out, it's just a matter of rewriting it! And so, voila, I officially have "The Dating App Bad Boy" to share with all you wonderful people.
But, enough with my rambling, chapter one is officially live with weekly updates!

I should get a gold star for this week because this is the THIRD chapter posted for Confessions of the World's Worst Vampire! I may not finish it before the Wattys closes, but I am so damn proud of it. My curse-loving vampire is really having a time, but he's been such a treat to write. I really do love unconventional characters xD
But now that Oliver and Evan are separated, Evan is forced to confront the one person from his past he never expected to see again!
I'd also like to note that this chapter is dedicated to Bonnie Tyler, who passed away this week. As you may have noticed, the chapters of this story are inspired by 80s songs, and Evan also adores 80s music. His love of the 80s music comes from me, and Bonnie Tyler sang one of my favourite songs: Holding Out for a Hero, so this chapter is dedicated to her. Evan isn't the hero we expected, but he's doing it his way and owning it.

Gotta say, I've been growing more and more disappointed lately in Wattpad... literally posted a chapter yesterday and had 4 people comment, none of which were actually commenting on the story but people (possibly bots) who want to sell me services. One this morning, wanted to sell me services to prepare for the Wattys! Seriously?
I'm not sure what's going on and no amount of flagging these comments seems to do much. And, while I don't want to pull my work from this platform, it's getting more and more disappointing when I see a comment and it's someone trying to sell a service instead of an actual interested reader.
If you are reading this and you are one of those people, STOP doing what you're doing. It's against the policies on Wattpad and all you are doing is annoying writers. Also, I will not hesitate to report you.

@jusdubs you're so right. It's also insanely specific. I've had unsolicited editing advice before but nothing for the Wattys. I feel like you should have an idea of how the platform works, engage with the community, share your knowledge, etc. before even thinking about helping with editing...which is what the bootcamp mentors are for xD absolutely wild.
@jusdubs I find it so baffling. Even if it is a bot that spans thousands, how could anyone ever benefit? Who in their right mind would seek advice from someone who hasn't posted any writing or has 0 likes?!
@JonLeePeto you would be correct! And they had just joined like the day before or something like that xD insane to me and really quite frustrating. I haven't had very many readers comment in a long time but I've had those types of comments frequently!
It's been a while, my friends, but I have some exciting news! Confessions of the World's Worst Vampire has been edited, and some major changes have been made! On top of that, I have posted Chapter 10 and, well, things are not going well for our two heroes... I highly recommend going back and skimming through chapters 6 through 9 before moving onto chapter 10!

Good morning, lovelies! It is June 1st, so you know what that means: it's Pride Month! I'm kicking off this month with an update for "Confessions of the World's Worst Vampire"! We finally get some answers from Oliver ;)
Please note that this chapter is unedited. I'm working through a first draft, while still posting for you readers to enjoy. Once I'm done writing this book, I'll go back and make the necessary edits.
