I wanted to post this here so potentially everyone can see...
I personally think that Embers slow growth into her strength is valid. As a first book we can't expect a totally badass female that has no internal doubt and issues. Her character is well built with her moments of stupidity and bravery are valid. Earning the irritation and pride respectfully ✨ With that said I'm pretty sure she'll grow a strong backbone in the future . Even if it's going to be a twisted road ♥️
