I love how most fandoms have AT LEAST ONE ship that the whole fandom agrees on (like the Hunger Games has Odesta, Gravity Falls has Melsoos, Harry Potter has Molly and Arthur) but Wings of Fire...no. there are no ships that the fandom collectively likes, without dissent. The closest we got are Fathigo and Lunatail, but even they have their haters. It's ridiculous
@VCricketTheHiveWingV Oh yeah, but there is a large faction that DESPISES Glorybringer, a fair few that find Cleril unhealthy, the faction that doesn't like Ripnami because Riptide's a reasonably underdeveloped character, not to mention the Glornami shippers. And despite the perfection of it, Starspeaker is like the second-most divisive ship, because Sunnyflight shippers (and Sunspeaker shippers, and Fatespeaker antis). And I once came across at least one person who isn't into Lunatail, it's the closest we've got
@justmelovinbooks Glorybringer is pretty popular, so is Cleril, Ripami, Starspeaker, and Lunatail! EVERYBODY agrees with Lunatail.
@justmelovinbooks haters gonna hate. (Actually I once saw someone online who had a very odd amount of vitriol for Sunny. Yes, Sunny.) Same thing goes for ships, lol. There's probably shippers and antis for everything under the sun.
This is just an appreciation post for Turtle, particularly in the case of the last chapter of Talons of Power, where he proves that he is a king, and has been drinking his 'respect women' juice, because he's amazing that way.
@Izzy246girl Turtle is emotionally that nice younger brother who everybody thinks is a little simple but very genuine and he will never inherit but then it turns out that he has ~hidden depths~ and he has a great deal of respect for his sisters and other young ladies of good repute (and bad repute if we're gonna include Peril too, lol).
